AHHHHHHH

I don't know what's been up the last few days but I am in total BIG B mode. Everything has been irritating the crap out of me. The house is a mess, I have homework, I have to be some where, Olivia won't do something, or won't stop doing something, Saphire's got an attitude about everything.
I hate feeling like this and hate that my family has to endure me like this. I never use to be so moody. For the most part I was pretty carefree. I don't like to stress out about minimal things like my bills or that the house is clean, cause you know, life could be worse. I have a roof over my head, food in my belly, and I have a beautiful family. I'd like to wave a wand and make it all go away. Maybe I need a night out. Ha,I wish.
Times like these really make me miss Redlands. Especially my church family. Washington has not been as welcoming to me. I have found it extremely hard to find the right church for me, let alone really get to know anyone in the church that I could become close with. My husband is my best friend, which is exactly the way it should be...but sometimes it would really be nice to have a close girlfriend that I trusted and could really open up to. Now don't get me wrong, I have female friends but its a different relationship. I don't know how to explain it, it's just not the same and I don't feel like I can be Kerra 100% of the time.
I should just stop complaining.

If every path you came across in life didn't have a few bumps in the road, it probably wouldn't make for a very interesting walk.

Easter and playing catch up

I have been wanting to update this for a few days(if anyone even cares lol).
Easter morning Olivia started tearing into her sisters basket so we had to wake up Saphire to get her in on the fun. After that I made a huge breakfast for my family, my mom, my father in law and Jeff's friend Matt. It turned out wonderful and I even shaped the french toast like bunnies. It was a lot of fun.

I started school 2 weeks ago and things are going good, minus my online PE class. I haven't made it to the gym as often as I have wanted due to needing to get homework done for other classes. I am still undecided what I want to do when I grow up(besides a mom).

Lets see, what else is new? Oh I got a new tattoo today(well the start of it). I am doing a sleeve on my left arm, it is a collaboration of the seasons. You know, like Summer, Winter,Fall, Spring. I am pretty excited about it. It's been a long while and I needed to do something. I was feeling a little to soccer mom. I also changed my hair to red recently. I think this all was a good step forward in helping find myself again. I'm a mom, but that's not all I am. EVEN THOUGH I'M AN AWESOME MOM :)

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but I still can't help to say its wrong. The last few days I have had a few conversations directed around convicts..specifically sexual predators. This might spring from the thought of becoming a advocate for victims of sexual abuse. I feel like this happens all to often in our society and not enough is being done. Then this got me thinking about a recent conversation between 2 people that I was listening to about social security and the whole public health care option. Although I do believe having universal health care is something this country needs. Anyways where I was going with this....
I am a very grateful American, but I would say in a very different way. I am grateful to be able to have food and water everyday, My children and I do not have to walk miles everyday to the watering hole(where often is needed for bathing, and bathroom breaks) for our water. Or my kids do not have to go hungry and wonder where their next meal will come from. I am also grateful that to an extent we live in a fairly safe country. My children do not have to walk miles into the city every night to escape being kidnapped and forced into sex slavery or forced to be child soldiers. But as Americans, we often forget that these things happen all over the world, everyday. As an American I cannot just blindly ignore these things. I cannot say that I hate immigrants in any way shape or form. There are many people who escape these hell holes for a better life here, and I do not blame them one bit. It is sad to me that there are so many people out there who think differently. One does not chose who they are born to or where they are born. We should all have the right to live the life that God gave us. People's free will should not destroy that but inspire it. Make the most of what you have and help the people who don't as much as possible. God will provide for those who sacrifice for their brother and sisters.

Blog Virgin

I have been inspired by a few people who I follow on this website. I have decided to start myself, hoping that it will have the same theraputic affect that journaling has.
Let me introduce myself, I'm Kerra a mother of 2 girls, a wife, . To say the least I'm hoping that through this blog I can help find myself again as I have forgotten who I am and have taken on other roles in my life. I am aware that we evolve as we grow but I have never felt so dysfunctional in my life.
God Speed...
