so, I started selling squeaker shoes as a consultant. I am so excited about this opportunity. Here are a few pics of my products. Photography

I've always loved pictures and have always been the kind of person to look at a beautiful thing and say to myself"wow that would be a beautiful picture." Like there is a bus stop that I drive by all the time that has people from Western State sitting at it(Western state in a mental hospital) and you can just sense their emotions from their face. I would love to translate that in a picture. Or last weekend we where driving to my mother in laws and we passed by a old worn down barn with a beautiful meadow of flowers in front of it. I wanted to stop and take a picture.
This has got me debating if I should take a photography class over the summer instead of a class I need. I would only do photography as a pass time and hobby. I by no means expect to become a photographer. What should I do...????
Here is a pic I took with my regular point and click that was actually published in the Seattle metro magazine for an article featuring Islands in the Puget Sound. I asked Jeff for a nicer camera for x-mas.This is a picture of the dock on Anderson Island from under the Steilacoom Marina, which has since burned down.

Earth laughs in flowers-the reason

Not that I have many followers, but I figured maybe people are wondering exactly what " Earth laughs in flowers" means to me and why I named my blog it.
"Earth laughs in flowers" is a quote by Ralph Waldo Emerson. A great poet of the 1800s. I actually love a lot of his poems and quotes. I am also distantly related to him.He is my great uncle. Which to me is awesome (my maiden last name is Emerson). I think it is kinda cool to be related to such a great and creative writer.
This specific quote stood out to me because I love to laugh. It's probably my favorite thing. I would have to say that flowers are the Earth laughing. Have you ever gotten a flower and not been happy about it? I'd like to say I would like my life to be like that , popping up beautiful things through laughter and happiness. Now this many not always be the case, but one can be positive, can't they?

AHHHHHHH

I don't know what's been up the last few days but I am in total BIG B mode. Everything has been irritating the crap out of me. The house is a mess, I have homework, I have to be some where, Olivia won't do something, or won't stop doing something, Saphire's got an attitude about everything.
I hate feeling like this and hate that my family has to endure me like this. I never use to be so moody. For the most part I was pretty carefree. I don't like to stress out about minimal things like my bills or that the house is clean, cause you know, life could be worse. I have a roof over my head,food in my belly, and I have a beautiful family. I'd like to wave a wand and make it all go away. Maybe I need a night out. Ha,I wish.
Times like these really make me miss Redlands. Especially my church family. Washington has not been as welcoming to me. I have found it extremely hard to find the right church for me, let alone really get to know anyone in the church that I could become close with. My husband is my best friend, which is exactly the way it should be...but sometimes it would really be nice to have a close girlfriend that I trusted and could really open up to. Now don't get me wrong, I have female friends but its a different relationship. I don't know how to explain it, it's just not the same and I don't feel like I can be Kerra 100% of the time.
I should just stop complaining.

If every path you came across in life didn't have a few bumps in the road, it probably wouldn't make for a very interesting walk.

Easter and playing catch up

I have been wanting to update this for a few days(if anyone even cares lol).
Easter morning Olivia started tearing into her sisters basket so we had to wake up Saphire to get her in on the fun. After that I made a huge breakfast for my family, my mom, my father in law and Jeff's friend Matt. It turned out wonderful and I even shaped the french toast like bunnies. It was a lot of fun.





I started school 2 weeks ago and things are going good, minus my online PE class. I haven't made it to the gym as often as I have wanted due to needing to get homework done for other classes. I am still undecided what I want to do when I grow up(besides a mom).

Lets see, what else is new? Oh I got a new tattoo today(well the start of it). I am doing a sleeve on my left arm, it is a collaboration of the seasons. You know, like Summer, Winter,Fall, Spring. I am pretty excited about it. It's been a long while and I needed to do something. I was feeling a little to soccer mom. I also changed my hair to red recently. I think this all was a good step forward in helping find myself again. I'm a mom, but that's not all I am. EVEN THOUGH I'M AN AWESOME MOM :)
